Deli, Aug. 19. The execution on Lingga Estate. The four Chinese paid to human justice because of
the crimes on Maryland. Tjam Ah Kih and Tan Ah Joe paid with their lives for the murder of Mr. Boniciolli. In the morning arrived at the company under litigation, and were taken to the place of punishment in the afternoon. Right in front of the bangsal where the crime was committed,
the gallows had been saved, and they must surely have less have pleasant thoughts in your head,
when they passed through that bangsal, therein the for them saw ready coffins ready. Present
was controller Kroesen, the administrator t. b. Peenstra and the military detachment one
twenty Europeans and a crowd of Battakkers with family. The Chinese in Medan were not on site; only the main tandil. Death was instantaneous; the inspector said that the corpses were buried in a remote place in the forest (Del. Ct.)

A terrible murder is on a farm was committed in Deli on Mr. Giovani Boniciolli (who was just 18 years old), who had been employed in Lingga estate for three years. Without suspecting anything bad, he entered the barn in the morning of the 23rd of August 1884, as usual accompanied by the Chinese mandor, to receive tobacco.
When he arrived there he saw no coolie at all; even the guards were not present. This also aroused him no suspicion; he put on his hat and wanted to leave-when he came to the exit of a Chinese,
who hid behind the door, hit his head with a so-called parang bengkok, and ended his life. The
weapon had penetrated to the cheekbone.
The body was not spared either; assisted by another coolie, who was also out of his hiding , it became the most horrible mutilation yes, literally cut to pieces, so that no part of the body was intact. At the
inquest, by Dr. Martin were 36 wounds, of which 25 were deadly.

The accompanying mandor had in the meantime fled and hide instead of making alarm. There
heavy suspicions of accomplice rest upon him. Instead of fleeing, the killers immediately go to him, a small wound on the shoulder which pierced through cleaver turns out to have been dealt, but impossible by the weapon with which the attack upon Boniciolli had taken place, and the only one
weapon they had at their disposal. Further the murderers, who are in full confession and with a silent cold-blood detailed of the murder to the controller at Medan, said that they neither attacked nor injured the mandor.

Execution sixth in a month

DELI SEPTEMBER 12, 1885.
Execution. The execution of the death sentence to the Chinese Lim Ah Nnio has Thursday early in the morning on the square in front of the prison took place. After reading the verdict, the condemned was placed on the scaffold wear – because of beri-beri he could no longer walk – and met his punishment calmly and resignedly. This is now the sixth execution within a month at Medan accomplished and the severity of the Government starts among the coolies at the companies then
also to speak out. That fear can only beneficial for peace and order and it is lament that this is what Riet used to be brought. Very much would be here in that country then remained undone. As a special feature of the execution of death sentences against Chinese, may serve that every condemned person before mounting from the scaffold on urgent desire a soerat lepas is handed out, containing the statement that he fulfills his obligations below daan has. Without that proof their existence seems to be less pleasant here afterwards.
